Jake Paul Is Officially A Legit Boxer

Jake Paul won by split decision against Tyron Woodley & probably legitimize himself as a true pro-boxer in this anticipated fight. His undefeated streak continues with beating the former UFC champion.

The majority of the fight was Paul being active in his punches, landing many jabs & body shots, while Woodley seems to be doing nothing to counter or land a punch in the early rounds. A shift happens in the 4th round where Woodley landed his signature right overhand that got "The Problem Child" rocked in the last seconds of the round. The rest was Paul consistently being very active while Woodley remains stagnant and inactive, only trying to land blitzes & his signature overhand right again.

"He's a tough opponent," Paul said. "He's been boxing -- striking, whatever you want to call it -- for years. I've been doing this three years. "It was a tougher fight than I expected." Paul said in his post-fight interview. After the fight, Paul and Woodley agreed to a rematch if Woodley gets an "I love Jake Paul" tattoo. "I didn't hit the ground like his other opponents," Woodley said. "I walked him down and gave it back. Let's run it back."

Overall the event was not as exciting as the build-up of the fight, the result of this bout is that Jake Paul has passed the biggest test of his career while Woodley shows that he is not the fighter that he once was when he won the UFC welterweight championship, if the rematch does happen, hopefully it will be a better & exciting bout than this first meeting between a internet sensation and a former champion in the squared circle.
